Greater Hexi

Greater Hexi is a small kingdom in the south-central part of Roshar, set between the Tarat Sea and the mountains, with Tu Fallia to the northeast, Marat to the south, Emul to the northwest, and mountains to the north, though no obvious geographical feature accounts for any of those borders. The island lying just off its coast in the Tarat Sea can be assumed to belong to it as well. The land is windswept flatland. The ground lies in wrinkles like frozen ripples in a pond, two or three inches deep, crusty and lichened on the stormward side, with grass flattened along the leeward. What trees grow there are scrawny, hunched-over things with thistle leaves, their branches bent so far leeward they almost touch the ground, and the mountainsides nearby are bare, blasted, and scoured raw.
