The Everstorm is a name heard in strange warnings, spoken by people in their final seconds and set beside the Night of Sorrows and the True Desolation.
Each of these sayings is written down with a date, the seconds left before the speaker's end and a note on who spoke, among them a pregnant darkeyed woman and a darkeyed youth whose origin is unknown. A booming voice in Dalinar Kholin's visions gives the same warning, urging him to unite his people and build a wall against the winds before the Everstorm comes, and Dalinar hesitates to speak of visions that defy all doctrine.
