Dawn runs through Rosharan language as a marker of deep antiquity, pointing back toward the beginning of history at the Heraldic Epochs. The Dawnsingers are said to have given humanity the gifts of glyphs and Alethi Script, and to have helped found the Dawncities, whose origins trace back to their time. The Dawnchant is the language they used.
