Dallet is a soldier in Brightlord Amaram's army in The Way of Kings, and second in command of the squad led by the young spearman Kaladin. He is a weathered, mountainous man with confident black eyes and a short full black beard going grey at the sides, and his gruff voice is somehow a comfort. Calm and practical, he steadies the younger soldiers around him.
