Cord

Cord is a young Horneater woman in the Stormlight Archive. She is the eldest daughter of Rock, the Unkalaki bridgeman of Bridge Four, and she makes the long journey down from the Horneater Peaks with her mother and siblings to rejoin her father in the Alethi camps. Solidly built where the Alethi run lean, with the deep rust-red hair of her people, she takes after her father in more ways than looks: she works beside him at his cook pots, feeding hungry soldiers, and she carries the pride, courtesies, and mythology of the Peaks with her into the lowlands. Among Alethi speakers she says little at first, her lowland vocabulary still small, and lets her family carry the conversation while she watches and works.
