A ruined city on the northern coast of Sothoryos, built wholly of oily black stone in blocks of enormous size.
Near the point where the Zamoyas River turns into a delta, on the northern coast of Sothoryos, stand the ruins of Yeen, with the ruins of Zamettar to the north. Its origins are among the great puzzles set before maesters and scholars. Like the Toad Stone on the Isle of Toads, Yeen is built wholly of oily black stone, in blocks so large a dozen elephants would be needed to shift one.
