He married Ellyn Reyne once she was widowed, and through her he reached Lannister gold: his crumbling seat was rebuilt with it, and his household knights went from twenty men to five hundred. He and his wife's brother, Lord Roger Reyne of Castamere, became the two vassals the mild Lord Tytos could least control.
