Vargo Hoat

Vargo Hoat is a sellsword out of Qohor and the captain of the Brave Companions, a mercenary band of foul repute. He is tall and gaunt, with a goatee hanging two feet from a pointed chin, and about his neck he wears a chain of coins, one taken from every place he has fought, many of them stamped with strange creatures and stranger cities. His arms bear the black goat of Qohor, his helm carries a goat's horns, and he often rides a zorse. A permanently swollen tongue makes him lisp and slobber when he speaks, a thing few who meet him fail to notice, though he is shrewd and cunning enough to have held command of his company. He and the Brave Companions take Lannister pay in the Riverlands.
