Tytos Lannister

Tytos Lannister was Lord of Casterly Rock and Warden of the West in the middle of the third century after Aegon's Landing, the third son of Lord Gerold Lannister and never raised to rule. He married Jeyne Marbrand and had five children by her: Tywin, Kevan, Genna, Tygett and Gerion. He was a kind man, slow to anger and quick to forgive, plump as a boy and fat as a man, no warrior and never knighted. Men borrowed his gold knowing they need not return it, and mocked him where he could hear, and he answered that words are wind. House Clegane owes its lands to him, given to a kennelmaster who saved him from a lioness.
