Ser Tygett Lannister went to war at ten years old. Third son of Lord Tytos Lannister and Jeyne Marbrand and younger brother to Tywin and Kevan, he killed his first man in his first battle at the War of the Ninepenny Kings and three more before it ended, one of them a knight of the Golden Company, and was judged too young for the knighthood his brothers won there. He got it later, squiring for Tywin. He spent his boyhood in his eldest brother's shadow and resented it, and the two of them quarrelled for years. He married Darlessa Marbrand and had a son, Tyrek.
