Eldest son of the Grey Lion and Lord of Casterly Rock under Daeron II and Aerys I. At Ashford Meadow he was unhorsed and left with a broken sword, and won the bout with his shield.
Golden haired and green eyed in the way of his house, Lord Tybolt Lannister was the eldest son of Lord Damon Lannister, the Grey Lion, and held Casterly Rock in the reigns of Daeron II and Aerys I Targaryen. As a young knight he rode at the tourney at Ashford Meadow in 209 AC, where he unseated Ser Androw Ashford after six broken lances, and where, unhorsed himself by Ser Jon Penrose and left with a broken sword, he beat Penrose anyway with his shield.
