Qarkash is a port city on the Summer Sea, along the south coast of the Red Waste, roughly 300 miles west of Qarth and a little over 300 miles east of Port Yhos. The Waste shields it from Dothraki raids out of the north, as it shields Qarth. Roads lead east to Qarth and north-west toward Lhazar, and the city sits about 100 miles north of the entrance to the Straits of Qarth.
