Lannisport

Beneath the walls of Casterly Rock, on the shore of the Sunset Sea, Lannisport is the port city of the westerlands, and its name runs through A Song of Ice and Fire from A Game of Thrones onward. Some three hundred thousand people live there, making it one of the great cities of Westeros, and it is ruled by a cadet branch of House Lannister under the eye of the Rock that towers above it. The gold of the western hills passes through its harbor, and the trade of the Sunset Sea passes in, so the city has grown rich in the shadow of the richest house in the Seven Kingdoms. Its City Watch is reputed the best trained force of its kind on the continent, and golden-haired Lannister cousins are common in its streets and counting houses.
