Lord of Maidenpool and one of the first riverlords to bend the knee to Aegon I Targaryen.
Lord Jon Mooton held Maidenpool for House Mooton. His brother, the Lord Mooton before him, sided with House Darklyn against Aegon I Targaryen and was killed in battle by Orys Baratheon, and Jon bent the knee after him, one of the first riverlords to come over to the dragons behind Edmyn Tully. He rose high in the Targaryen host and was given its command at the Field of Fire.
