Joffrey Baratheon
Joffrey Baratheon is the crown prince of the Seven Kingdoms, a boy who travels north in the royal party to Winterfell.
At twelve, Joffrey Baratheon stands taller than Robb or Jon, though both are older, much to Jon's dismay. His hair is like his sister's, his deep green eyes are his mother's, and his blond curls hang thick over a golden choker and a high velvet collar. He walks into the feast at Winterfell with Sansa beside him, and Jon takes against his pouty lips and the bored, disdainful way he looks the hall over.
The king offers Joffrey as a husband for Sansa, and Ned accepts that the match must go ahead. Sansa's friend Jeyne whispers that Joffrey likes her and has told her she is very beautiful, and Sansa finds him very gallant. Jon, as Arya reports it, says the prince looks like a girl.
