Lord Jason Mallister is the head of House Mallister and the Lord of Seagard, a loyal bannerman of House Tully. He has one known son, Patrek, his heir. He is a renowned warrior and a frequent competitor in tourneys: at Storm's End he was unhorsed by Prince Rhaegar Targaryen and by Ser Barristan Selmy, and at Lannisport only by Jorah Mormont, who went on to win it. He gave lavish gifts at the wedding of Lord Eddard Stark and Lady Catelyn Tully. He was an important commander in Robert's Rebellion, and at the Trident he cut down three of Rhaegar's bannermen, said to be in payment for his brother. In the Greyjoy Rebellion he threw the ironborn back into the sea from under the walls of Seagard.
