House Baratheon of Dragonstone is the branch of House Baratheon seated on the island fortress of Dragonstone in Blackwater Bay, the old seat of the Targaryen kings. It was made after Robert's Rebellion, when King Robert gave that castle to his brother Stannis and the ancestral seat of Storm's End to their younger brother Renly. Stannis, who had held Storm's End through a year of siege and near starvation, took the exchange as a slight and has never let go of it. He rules Dragonstone as its lord and sits the small council as master of ships. His wife is Selyse of House Florent, and their only child is a daughter, Shireen.
