Highgarden

Highgarden is the seat of House Tyrell and the heart of the Reach, the green and fertile southland of Westeros, on the map of A Song of Ice and Fire from A Game of Thrones onward. The castle stands above the river Mander amid some of the richest farmland in the Seven Kingdoms, and the roses of its gardens give the Tyrells their golden rose sigil and their words, Growing Strong. From Highgarden Lord Mace Tyrell rules as Lord Paramount of the Mander and Warden of the South, at the head of a house noted for wealth, chivalry, and grace, with more swords sworn to it than to any other seat in the realm. In older ages Highgarden is the seat of the Gardener kings, who reign over the Reach for thousands of years before the dragons come.
