King Halleck Hoare was the second King of the Isles and the Rivers of House Hoare, successor to his father Harwyn, who had taken the Riverlands from Storm King Arrec Durrandon. He was a mainland king by inclination as much as by inheritance. Across his whole reign he went back to the Iron Islands only three times, and those visits together came to two years.
