Balon Greyjoy's exiled brother, called the Crow's Eye, who devised the burning of the Lannister fleet off Lannisport and was banished from the islands afterwards.
Euron Greyjoy, called the Crow's Eye, is a brother of Lord Balon Greyjoy of Pyke and the one the ironborn speak of least willingly. He is tall and well made, black haired and pale skinned, reckoned the handsomest of his family, and he wears a patch over one eye. The other is a bright blue. During the Greyjoy Rebellion it was Euron who devised the burning of the Lannister fleet at anchor off Lannisport. Afterwards Balon banished him from the islands and forbade him to return. Since then he has sailed the world in his ship the Silence, whose crew he keeps mute, and claims to have seen Asshai, the Smoking Sea, and the ruins of Valyria itself.
