King Erich VII Durrandon was head of House Durrandon and the Storm King when the Andal Invasion began, and he took little interest in it. He did not care, he said, about the quarrels of strangers in a land far away. His own war with King Justin Massey over Massey's Hook held him instead, along with incursions from King Olyvar Yronwood. He died while the Andals conquered the Vale.
