Edric Storm

Edric Storm is a natural son of King Robert Baratheon by Delena Florent, a cousin of Selyse Florent, and he is named in A Game of Thrones. He was conceived on the night Robert's brother Stannis wed Selyse, which Stannis took as an insult to his honour, and the boy was sent to Storm's End to be fostered by his other uncle, Renly. Because his mother was a noblewoman his father acknowledged him, and he has been raised in comfort under the eye of Ser Cortnay Penrose, Renly's castellan, who is fond of him, and taught by maesters, castellans and masters-at-arms. Edric is a sturdy, good-looking boy with jet-black hair and deep blue eyes, the Baratheon jaw and cheekbones and the large ears of House Florent. He is charming and courteous, and fierce and proud with it.
