Duskendale
Duskendale is a port town of the Crownlands on Blackwater Bay, north of King's Landing, an ancient seat of House Darklyn held in the present day by House Rykker from the castle called the Dun Fort.

Cobbled streets run down to a harbor sheltered by rocks from the open water, fishing villages dot the coast around it, and the castle called the Dun Fort overlooks the town, seat of House Rykker. Duskendale is old, and for most of its long history its name is bound to House Darklyn, the ancestral lords whose forebears ruled it as petty kings in the ages before the Seven Kingdoms; in the present generation the Rykkers hold the town of the Iron Throne. Trade, fish, and the traffic of the bay keep Duskendale prosperous, if far quieter than the capital that long ago outgrew it.
