Daeron II Targaryen

Daeron II Targaryen was the twelfth king of his house to sit the Iron Throne, and the realm afterwards called him Daeron the Good. The son of Aegon IV and his sister Naerys, he was wed as a boy to Princess Myriah Martell in the peace that followed the Dornish war of Daeron I, and he came to love both the woman and her country. He was no warrior. He was a reader and an arguer, at ease among maesters and septons, and he preferred a treaty to a battle. Dorne entered the Seven Kingdoms in his reign by a marriage rather than a conquest, and his court filled with Dornishmen, which pleased some of his lords a great deal less than it pleased him. He wore his father's heavy dragon crown all the same.
