The last Storm King to rule the Riverlands, beaten by King Harwyn Hoare and the ironborn longships, and succeeded by his eldest son Arlan V Durrandon.
Arrec Durrandon was the last Storm King to rule the Riverlands, which his ancestor Arlan III Durrandon had taken some three hundred years before him. King Harwyn Hoare used the mobility of the ironborn longships against him, and Arrec's worst defeat came at the Battle at Fairmarket. He twice tried to cross the Blackwater Rush and win the land back, and failed both times. His eldest son Arlan V followed him.
