Arianne Martell

Princess Arianne Nymeros Martell is the eldest daughter of Prince Doran Martell of Dorne and his wife Mellario of Norvos, and under Dornish law she is the heir to her father's seat. She is in her early twenties, short but striking, with the olive skin of her house, large dark eyes and long black hair falling in ringlets to the middle of her back. In company she is bold and flirtatious, and that manner covers a sharp and calculating mind; she is protective of the people she loves and dangerous to anyone she counts an enemy. She believes her father distrusts her, and she is angered by talk that her younger brothers Quentyn and Trystane might inherit before her, though Dornish custom names her first.
