Aerion Targaryen

Prince Aerion Targaryen was the second son of Prince Maekar Targaryen and Lady Dyanna Dayne, and he appears in the tales of Dunk and Egg. He had an older brother, Daeron, and two younger brothers, Aemon and Aegon. Slim and of middling height, he had the Valyrian look of his family: curly silver-gold hair, sharp cheekbones, violet eyes and pale skin. His temper spoiled all of it. Aerion was cruel, arrogant and sadistic, contemptuous of lords he thought beneath him and of the smallfolk altogether, and his younger brother Aegon loathed him early, having had his pet drowned in a well and woken once to find Aerion standing over him with a knife. He won a tourney by driving his lance through a horse's neck. He styled himself Aerion Brightflame, though he is better remembered as Aerion the Monstrous, and he was so taken with his own blood that he held himself a dragon in the body of a man.
