Tamlin

Tamlin is immortal and centuries old, a High Fae of noble rank. For nearly fifty years he has been afflicted by a magical blight that now keeps him trapped in a mask. He spares Feyre's life and offers her residence at his manor, though he struggles with social interaction.

At dinner he observes Feyre with interest and works out her hunting background on his own, deducing it from her father's hands and her skills. He also offers condolences over the death of her mother. Later he appears in the gardens with his work postponed and offers to show her the grounds, and although there is apparent reluctance on his part, tension follows when she refuses.
