Rhysand (pronounced Ree-sand) is the High Lord of the Night Court.
Rhysand also goes by the shorter Rhys, and by his own account only his prisoners and his enemies call him Rhysand. He dresses richly and darkly, in a black tunic brocaded in gold and silver, dark trousers and black boots that reach his knees, and his clothing is cloaked in tendrils of night.
His eyes are violet, and he moves with a smooth, feline grace. His smile is strikingly beautiful. He speaks in a soft, low purr, though his voice can sharpen to an edge, and his laugh is low and quiet.
