Puca
A Puca (pronounced: Pu-kah), is a kind of dark Faerie that roams through Prythian.
Pucas are shapeshifters, and they hunt by taking the forms their prey most wants to see. Rather than chasing a victim down, a Puca reads a person's desires and wears them, drawing its quarry away from safety one familiar shape at a time.
One of them came for Feyre while she was staying at Tamlin's manor. It appeared to her as her crippled father, as her sisters, and as supplies she needed, using each shape in turn to lure her out of her bedroom, past the gates, and into the woods toward a glen, where it meant to prey on her. Tamlin and Lucien were among those at the manor during her stay there, and the creature's hunting ground ran through the forest near the border of Tamlin's lands.
