Nesta Archeron
Nesta Archeron (pronounced: Nes-tah) is the eldest of the three Archeron sisters, who lives with Feyre, Elain and their father.
Nesta resents the family's fall from wealth and refuses to take part in the household labor that keeps them fed. Along with Elain and their father, she depends on Feyre's hunting, and she has a habit of coveting what belongs to others. She intends to marry Tomas Mandray even though the family cannot offer a dowry, seeing the match as her way out of poverty.
She has no patience for faerie worship. When acolytes of the Children of the Blessed come through the village, Nesta confronts them with open hostility and shows off an iron bracelet as a mark of her defiance. She is wary of humans on the wrong side of the law as well; after a past robbery, she warns Feyre against having anything to do with mercenaries.
