Lucien Vanserra

Lucien is a red-haired courtier who wears a bronze fox mask and carries a golden artificial eye in place of one of his own. Beneath the mask he bears facial scars. He lives at Tamlin's estate in Prythian and, whatever his opinions, is subject to Tamlin's authority.

When Feyre arrives at the estate, Lucien makes his hostility plain. He is bitter about what happened to Andras and takes satisfaction in interrogating Feyre over her part in it, pressing her with questions and watching her answer. He is openly skeptical of her presence in the manor at all.

His needling does not stop at Andras. Over meals in the dining room he mocks Feyre with questions about her age and her skills, presses her about her feelings toward men, and makes oblique references to faerie traditions she does not understand. He falls silent, though, when Tamlin raises the subject of her mother.
