Lanthys is one of the beings held in the Prison, where confinement has weakened him.
Lanthys belongs to an ancient, near-primordial kind of being, with hardly any physical form and a keen, vicious intelligence, to whom humans and Fae alike are prey. He can appear as swirling mist. He is said to be deathless, one of the death-lords nothing can kill.
Lanthys is spoken of as evil incarnate, without mercy or any sense of right and wrong. His ways of killing are said to be slow and inventive, and he feeds on fear and pain no less than on flesh.
