Feyre Archeron
Feyre Archeron (pronounced: Fay-ruh) is the youngest of the three Archeron sisters, who lives with Nesta, Elain and their father.
Feyre kept her family alive by hunting in the dangerous forest near their cottage, the sole provider for her father and sisters after the household fell into poverty. Eleven years ago she made a deathbed promise to her mother to keep the family together and care for them, and that promise has weighed on her ever since.
While hunting she killed Andras, a faerie, with an ash arrow. A faerie beast came to the cottage in the aftermath, and although the encounter meant certain death for her family, Feyre confronted the creature with courage and pragmatism. She accepted exile to Prythian to spare them, a choice that pulled directly against the promise she had made to her mother.
A golden-haired High Fae warrior brought her across the wall to an opulent estate in Prythian. There she struggles with hunger, fear and the constant instinct to escape while learning her way around the estate, its gardens and halls, and its deadly inhabitants. Among the residents she deals with are Lucien and a servant named Alis.
