Elain Archeron
Elain Archeron (pronounced: Eh-lane) is Feyre Archeron's second-eldest sister, who lives with Nesta Archeron, Feyre and their father.
Elain Archeron lives with her family in a cottage near a small village, where the household survives on what Feyre brings back from the forest. She has little practical awareness of how dire the family's poverty is, and she contributes little to their survival, yet Feyre gives her special consideration all the same. Among the things she needs when Feyre returns from a hunt is a new cloak.
She goes to market with Nesta and Feyre, and there she is quieter and more cautious than Nesta. She brings up a robbery by a mercenary in the past. When the sisters spend the money from Feyre's kills, Elain uses her share to buy a chisel for their father's woodcarving.
