Alis
Alis (pronounced: Alice) is a faerie of the Spring Court who is originally from the Summer Court.
Alis is a rotund, brown-haired servant of the High Fae who wears a brass bird mask. Her duties as Feyre's maid are the ordinary ones: she bathes and dresses her, and she calls her to meals in the dining room.
Her usefulness to Feyre goes beyond those duties. Her advice is cryptic but pragmatic, aimed at surviving life in the estate. She tells Feyre to keep her wits about her, warns her about certain of the manor's inhabitants, and suggests that Lucien might respond to someone willing to confront him directly.
Alis is loyal to Tamlin and follows his orders. Toward Feyre she is hostile at first; when Feyre rigs a rope trap in an attempt to defend herself, Alis grants the effort a begrudging respect.
